With 13 years of experience, Rehema has excelled in her role at DOT Tanzania, contributing significantly to various aspects of organizational development. Her expertise spans financial planning, management, financial control, reporting, and human resources management. Since 2017, she has played a pivotal role in key projects such as Digital Livelihoods and Daring to Shift.

Denish Otieno brings extensive experience in program management, monitoring, evaluation, and learning across various sectors. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Population and Development Planning from the Institute of Rural Development Planning in Dodoma, Tanzania. Combining his expertise in program management, monitoring and evaluation with a passion for community development, Denish has consistently championed positive change. His dedication to leveraging innovative solutions and fostering collaboration underscores his commitment to advancing sustainable development goals and improving livelihoods within communities.

Thadei has rooted experience in capacity building and professional development. He is a business development enthusiast with a strong academic background in business and information technology having worked in diversified backgrounds from the most suited bankers to the muddy farmer in rural Tanzania. Thadei‘s role is to bring the best out of the targeted groups in terms of their abilities to excel as entrepreneurs and leaders in their communities and beyond. Through the engaging sessions, Thadei stands as the point of motivation and inspiration for the youth leaders in achieving their full potential.

Sekela’s ideal world is one where everyone, especially girls and women understand that gender roles are socially constructed and women’s rights are human rights.  Working for DOT Tanzania as the Gender Officer is a dream come true, to her it is an opportunity to create spaces for women to maximize their full potential.

Sekela is a feminist and very passionate about gender equality, she is a strong advocate for sexual reproductive health and rights, economic growth amongst women, and climate change.

Sekela is a talented artist, experienced radio presenter, and a businesswoman who likes working with music in the background.

Atuza Theresa Tuhoye is a dedicated professional in Community Development, holding both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. With a wealth of experience in community outreach, engagement, and policy analysis, she serves as the Community Outreach & Engagement Officer at Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) Tanzania.

Atuza is committed to fostering positive change through innovative programs and initiatives to empower communities. Whether it’s designing effective training programs, conducting insightful analysis, or advocating for sustainable solutions, Atuza’s work is driven by her values of empowerment, collaboration, and innovation. Her dedication contributes to the advancement of communities and the attainment of shared objectives.

Fueled by a passion for data-driven decision-making, Edson (former DOTYouth) is a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist. With a proven track record in designing, managing, and optimizing M&E practices, he leverages cutting-edge technologies like machine learning, telecommunications, and data science to drive impactful results across various projects in Tanzania. Skilled in data analysis, visualization, predictive modeling, project design, evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building, Edson ensures seamless alignment between project planning, implementation, and outcomes, consistently meeting grant and investment expectations.

A dedicated and detailed finance professional, Ngaissy has been meeting the financial and procurement needs of international corporate companies and nonprofit organizations for the past years. She has always been able to perform precise procurement tasks and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately represented, analyzed and observed at best. Ngaissy works with Finance and Procurement department, her experience working with a number of organizations and different stakeholders have allowed her to easily navigate the financial world, giving her clients sound advice for careful planning to fulfill their long-term and short-term goals.
